Red Grapes Coming In

We've had some wild heat the last couple of weeks, and red varietals are coming off the vineyards now!  We received Syrah from Paper Street Vineyard this week:

Paper Street Vineyard Grenache Blanc

In the Willow Creek District lies Paper Street Vineyard. This land was used for barley and almonds until the mid-1990’s, but was mostly abandoned until the Dusi family planted vines here. The limestone-white hills, hot days, and cool nights make for concentrated, vibrant, and mineral-driven wines.

We received several tons of Grenache Blanc from this vineyard yesterday!

2017 Harvest is Here

These tanks are empty today, but not for long!  We started harvesting Santa Barbara County fruit last week, and we'll begin bringing in Paso Robles fruit next week.  Things are about to get crazy around here!

Harvest has Begun!

Yesterday we pressed our first EVER fruit of the property, 2015 Viognier! After 13 years, McPrice Myers can officially say we have a vineyard fully under our control, and as result, will now allow us to completely manipulate another factor in our winemaking. Needless to say, we are very excited!
