2015 Paper Street Vineyard Grenache Blanc
In the Willow Creek District lies Paper Street Vineyard. This land was used for barley and almonds until the mid-1990’s, but was mostly abandoned until the Dusi family planted vines here. The limestone-white hills, hot days, and cool nights make for concentrated, vibrant, and mineral-driven wines.
Whole cluster pressed and cold settled in stainless steel. Fermented and aged in neutral French oak and stainless steel. The wine went through 50% malolactic fermentation and was bottled after 12 months.
Tree-ripened Bosc pear, licorice, basil, brined sweet lemon, and honeyed green tea on the nose. The palate is fresh and vibrant with plenty of body to support this wine.
