2016 Terre Blanche
Terre Blanche is a white Rhone blend comprised of Grenache Blanc and Viognier grapes grown on the Westside of Paso Robles from Paper Street and our estate vineyard.
Whole cluster pressed and cold settled in stainless steel. Fermented and aged in neutral 228-liter French oak barriques, 500L puncheons, and stainless steel. The wine went through 50% malolactic fermentation and was bottled after 12 months.
Lively, clean, and fresh with guava, papaya, Meyer lemon, anise, white currant, salted butter, and clover honey. Medium bodied with good mid-palate weight and a bright, lifted finish. Pair with white-fleshed fish, yellow curry, and spring rolls.

92 points, Vinous
Bright green-tinged straw. Vibrant, mineral-accented citrus and orchard fruit scents are complicated by suggestions of quinine and ginger that gain strength with air. Silky, concentrated and seamless on the palate, offering juicy tangerine, pear and honeysuckle flavors and a jolt of smoky minerality. Finishes very long, delivering nervy cut, impressive energy, and lingering florality.
90 points, Wine Spectator
Fresh pear, peach and mandarin orange flavors are bright and crisp, with an appealing touch of almond skin on the finish and a lingering note of lemon sherbet. Finishes with finesse and harmony.
